Sixth & Seventh Grade Info 2010-2011
Please join us on Wednesday, April 13, 2011 at 7:00 p.m. in the Shea Center for an evening of information and support as you and your sixth or seventh grader begin to look ahead to high school. The evening will include a discussion of "Frequently Asked Questions" regarding the high school application process, what values, and characteristics are important when choosing a high school, and specific information about Saint Mary's and Lasallian education. NO RESERVATIONS ARE NECESSARY.
Saint Mary's is proud of its 147 year history of being one of the strongest high schools in the Bay Area with a long tradition and heritage of academic excellence and a comprehensive educational program geared toward helping prepare students for 21st century careers and citizenship. Please join us at our Sixth and Seventh Grade Information Night to learn more.
The Catholic high school application process in the San Francisco Bay Area requires all applicants to take a standardized entrance test, the HSPT (High School Placement Test) developed and produced by Scholastic Testing Services. Saint Mary's hosts an opportunity for 100 seventh graders to participate in a practice test, or PRE-HSPT on Saturday, April 16, 2011 from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Student participation in this day is BY RESERVATION ONLY. RESERVATIONS ARE TAKEN ON A FIRST-COME, FIRST-SERVE BASIS.
